Los seminarios “Living in Portugal” (Vivir en Portugal) se realizan, en inglés, durante todo el año en diferentes lugares del mundo. Están organizados por el Grupo Open Media, el principal editor de medios de comunicación en lengua extranjera de Portugal, en asociación con asociados clave que ofrecen asesoramiento sobre todas las cuestiones relacionadas con la vida en Portugal.
Bajo un mismo techo, tendrá la oportunidad de escuchar presentaciones en directo de expertos en áreas como asuntos legales, seguros, impuestos (centrado en el régimen de residencia no habitual), etc.
Si está pensando en mudarse a Portugal de forma permanente en algún momento en el futuro, vivir allí a tiempo parcial o tal vez esté pensando en crear un negocio, nuestro seminario de Marbella ofrece una oportunidad única para que se respondan todas sus preguntas en un solo lugar y a la vez.
El evento tiene dos sesiones de seminario idénticas, una por la mañana y otra por la tarde, antes o después de las cuales tendrá tiempo para hablar con nuestros asociados del evento.
Nuestro evento, en inglés, es gratuito para los invitados registrados. Lo único que tiene que hacer es inscribirse en la sesión del seminario que prefiera y reservar sus plazas. A continuación, se le enviará un correo electrónico solicitando la reconfirmación en un plazo de dos semanas a partir de la fecha del evento. También es posible inscribirse el mismo día en la recepción del evento, en función de la disponibilidad, por lo que le aconsejamos que se inscriba con anticipación y se asegure sus plazas en el seminario.

Bruce Hawker
CEO - Open Media / event host
Bruce has lived in the Algarve most of his life, having moved to Portugal from the UK as a child when his family relocated in the late 1970’s. His career has been mostly in publishing, as founder and CEO of the Open Media Group; publishers of the Algarve Resident newspaper and Essential Algarve magazine amongst other titles. Whilst continuing in his role at Open Media, Bruce also has interests in real estate. Alongside his business activities, he is also a member of the board of directors of the Lisbon based British Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. Bruce is the host and a speaker at the Living in the Algarve events.
Jorge Pereira
Fine & Country - General Manager (Almancil)
Jorge was born in Angola but grew up in the beautiful city of Geneva, Switzerland, where he completed a degree in Tourism Management. He lived and worked for five years in Ukraine before moving to Portugal in 2012 and started his career in real estate in 2015 when he moved to the Algarve and joined Fine & Country in 2018 as general manager of the central Algarve office in Almancil. As a web and online marketing expert with a passion for photography, he combines his role in management with advising the marketing team and working as a property consultant assisting vendors and buyers. In his spare time, Jorge enjoys combining his love of photography, aviation and travel as an avid plane spotter.

Susana Wichels, Phd. Ombria Resort is a luxury low-density sustainable development surrounded by nature, in the heart of the authentic Algarve and less than 25 minutes from the coast and Faro airport.
